With this project our clients required access to their garden via the upstairs kitchen. Westside Fabrications Ltd designed, manufactured and installed an external staircase from the roof top balcony area. The staircase was fabricated from rectangle hollow sections and fitted with Millboard Decking for the treads. The handrail consisted of heat soaked and toughened glass capped off with a 48mm stainless steel 316 grade split tube handrail. All the steelwork was galvanised, fettled and powdercoated textured black.
The wooden steps add a third texture to this installation, providing it with a contemporary feel.
